This route starts and finishes at Second Chance Beer Co in Carmel Mountain Ranch. Post ride gathering at Second Chance is planned.

The ride starts off through Penasquitos Canyon Trail to Sorrento Valley Road. After making your way through Rancho Santa Fe, Del Dios Hwy and Elfin Forest, you jump on the trail that reaches Lake Hodges Dam, then following Lake Dr to Escondido. A quick spin through Elfin Forest Rd and you jump on the trail along Harmony Grove Dr and make your way to Questhaven Rd.

For demented pleasure, we placed a control on top of Double Peak followed by a descent the gravel Ridgeline trail to reach Twin Oaks Valley Rd. Making your way to Escondido, you return through North County Fair, crossing the Lake Hodges Bridge, making your way to Second Chance for the post ride libations.
