No better way to dare Friday the 13th than to go for a long ride. No randonneurs named “Jason” may join!

This route was inspired by a ride called the Friday Pier Ride when I worked at Viasat. For several years, on most Fridays a group would head out from the office to the Oceanside Pier and back. This Friday, the route will ride by all 5 piers in San Diego County.

No frills, no support, no nada: an easy cruise on a 200k with no PBP implications to take advantage of an off-Friday. Will stop for lunch. I plan to finish before sunset. Will cancel if threat of rain in the forecast.
