This populaire starts in University City and weaves its way to Rancho Santa Fe via Sorrento Valley, Carmel Valley, the SR-56 bike path, Camino del Sur and Fairbanks Ranch.
It then meanders through the richest zip code of San Diego County, on picturesque narrow roads where citrus orchards and Mc Mansions offer themselves to the viewing pleasure of the rider.
After this the route skirts Encinitas along Rancho Santa Fe Rd, La Costa Ave and the Pacific Coast Highway, leading to Solana beach, Del Mar and UCSD before reaching the finish.
